In 2014, Jaykumar Jitendrasinh Rawal of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Bedse Sandeep Trayambakrao of NCP by a margin of 42,158 votes which was 21.19% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Rawal Jaikumarbhau Jitendrasinh of BJP won this seat defeating Saner Shamkant Raghunath of INC by a margin of 50,699 votes which was 30.15% of the total votes polled for the seat.
