In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Yamini Yashwant Jadhav of SS won in this constituency beating Waris Yusuf Pathan of AIMIM by a margin of 19,965 votes which was 16.01% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Advocate Waris Yusuf Pathan of AIMIM was the winner in this seat beating Madhu (Dada) Chavan of BJP by a margin of 1,357 votes which was 1.09% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Chavan Madhukar Balkrishna Alias Anna of INC won this seat defeating Sanjay Gopal Naik of MNS by a margin of 9,104 votes which was 7.83% of the total votes polled for the seat.
